The appointments of Jenna Adamson and Jen Hinton as Assistant Coaches and Nicky Miles as Team Manager is the result of a successful recruitment process with decisions made by Celtic Dragons Head Coach Danielle Titmuss and incoming Head of Elite Sara Hale.
Being a part of the Wales Netball Senior Coaching team, Adamson has worked as an assistant coach to the senior team since 2018. Jenna has a range of experience in franchise netball at Team Bath and Severn Stars, and regional netball in New Zealand. Having achieved her UKCC Level 3 this year, she is extremely committed to coaching. Jenna’s enthusiasm and passion is demonstrated by her ambition to generate success for teams she works with.
Since their inaugural year, Hinton has worked three seasons with Wasps Netball as their U21 NPL Assistant Coach. The U21 team were twice NPL undefeated champions, and once NPL silver medallists. Being involved in the Coach Mentor Scheme run by Tamsin Greenway, Jen has gained beneficial exposure to VNSL environments. She is a humble and compassionate coach who understands what is required in a performance environment.
Nicky was the Team Manager at Wasps Netball (U21) for three seasons. Nicky is extremely experienced, organised and committed to netball. She had a great understanding of how to manage squads, so the players and staff can perform to the best of their abilities
Talking about her new colleagues, Celtic Dragons Head Coach Danielle Titmuss said,
“I am so excited to work with this group and feel we’re building something special. They are all driven by performance and are committed to the vision for the team.”
The selection of Jenna, Jen and Nicky finalises the management team for the Celtic Dragons 2022 VNSL Season. We look forward to welcoming the squad in October.
